Motorcycle Repair: Suzuki GSF400 Variable Valve Control not working, suzuki gsf400, vt system

Hi Mark
I have a 93 Bandit VT and for some time now it can't reach 14000
rpm.On acceleration now there is no sound at about 8000rpm of
the 16 valves engaging and it stops at 12500 rpm.  
I think that VT system is not working correctly or not at all.
Any ideas?

Your diagnosis may be right on.

Follow the serive manual procedures for checking and repairing the valve.
