Motorcycle Repair: turn signal\ruining light, twin cam 88, harley engine

Question
I wrote to you before and your answer was correct.
thanks
When I hit the turn signal (right side only) it
works some of the time but then it doesn't. It
starts to work again when I stop running the bike?
This has been going on for 5 or 6 rides. I don't
think it's a short because it works fine most of
the time.It does seem to be more frequent after I
ride awhile. Is there a way to check this problem
because it seems to work when I have someone look
at it. I'm trying to find an easy way to find the
problem without going through the entire electrical system. Any ideas?
I have a new red hoarse with a twin cam 88 harley
engine.

Answer
There can only be a few reasons for the problem. One is a loose bulb, the other is a short in the wiring. you could have a connection vibrating loose and causing the problem. You dont need to go through the entire elect system. Start at the bulb and work your way back to the power source.
Good luck and happy riding
