Motorcycle Repair: Oil Leak, kawasaki 1500, oil leaks

I have a 1996 Kawasaki 1500 Classic. I have discovered an oil leak that appears to be on the front head toward the top. I thought it might have been a head gasket but I'm really not sure. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Scott,

To help find minute oil leaks, I use foot powder sprays on suspected leak areas (Dr. Scholl's Foot Powder Spray).

The powder goes on pure white and dries to a fluffy finish. Oil appears brown thru the powder. Clean up is easy.

Otherwise, you'll have trace the source of the leak.
