Motorcycle Repair: Motor cycle-modification and repair, motorcycle repair, schools in the usa

Hi! Mike .Iam interested in modifying and repairing motor cycles.SO i want to know what course one needs to pursue in order to become an expert in modifing motorcycles like changing the mufflers and making the bike chassis look more sleeker like a sports bike and stuff like that.Who could teach stuff like that? I would highly appreciate if you could provide the complete details.

There are several schools in the USA that teach motorcycle repair. Motorcycle Instutite is one of them. the problem youa re going to run into is the modification part. They only teach repair. Most people who do modifications are one that have worked in the field for a while and have done it by trial and error. I dont know of anybody who teaches it. You might be able to get a job in a shop that does that kind of work and learn that way.
