Question - Harley dealer has installed a dyna jet kit. I had it up there and they adjusted carb. But now it doesnt have near the power it had. I was hoping for directions on proper adjustment of carb. Do you know of any websites that will have this info? Nearest dealer is 100 miles away. Thanks!
2000 HD Sportster. Need help adjusting factory carb with stage one kit. No power when throttled. Hesitates when throttled when just sitting. What is best way to adjust this carb to get it close. Not sure if it is set too lean or too rich. Thanks!

When  installing a stage one kit you have leaned out the motor. Your best option is to get a Dyna-jet kit for your carb. It will richen it back up, adjust the air/fuel mixture and give you more throttle responce. The have great directions and you should be able to install it in about 2 hours.
Good luck and happy riding

Answer
If you have lost power then the kit wasn't installed properly. The Dyna kit should have given you more throttle responce. The rubber in the top of the carb which moves the slide might have gotten pinched or torn. I think I would return to the dealer and have them check their work.
As to adjusting your carb, there is no adjustments except for changing jets and adjusting the air/fuel mixture screw. The air/fuel mixture screw however only works at idle so that in not your problem. You can tell if its to lean or rich bt checking the plugs. Real white and its to lean, black and its to rich.
Good luck and happy riding
