hey mark, i have a 78 suzuki 185 i got it just recently and it ran fine then but now it is starting to break up at the higher rpm's and then when you shift into the next gear you have no power you actually start to slow down. i dont know whats wrong if you have any info you could give me on it let me know and also if you need more details in my question just let me know. my email is legendary350@aol.com thanks alot

Hi Marc,

I susect the carburetor may need a thorough cleaning and tunignto restore performance.

Check the air filter and ensure it is clean and in good condition.

Clean or replace the spark plug. Verify that it is the correct plug for the 185 and that the gap is correct.
