Motorcycle Repair: firing order, air fuel mixture, harley engine

Question
what is the firing order for a harley engine 88?
is it ok to swap wires from the ignition coil or need to follow the order?

Answer
Hi Frank,

As my profile indicates, I'm not a H-D expert.

If the cylinders share one ignition coil, both cylinders fire simultaneously. One cylinder is on compression stroke and about to burn the fresh air-fuel mixture. The other cylinder is 180 degress off. Both spark plugs arc, only one arc produces power.
