Motorcycle Repair: Honda Neutral light, clutch lever, blown fuse

Question
Mark.
On my '94 750 magna, the neutral light comes on when I pull the clutch lever. It goes off when I release it (except in neutral). I have looked everywhere for bad connections or shaffed wires. Have you ever seen/heard of this before? I have just changed my RR and managed to blow the 30A main fuse while taking the battery out but could this affect this condition. Please help if possible. I'm stumped.
Thanks

Answer
Hi Finley,

The blown fuse may or may not be related. Did the neutral light problem begin with the fuse being blown?

Trace the clutch safety switch & neutral switch circuits wiring. I suspect the neutral indent switch or clutch lever switch is the source of the problem.
