I need to take a break with calming liquid in a bottle...  yeap just crack one open now... tks for answer if you can.    Mickey

Answer
Hi Mickey,

Did you remove the C-clip from the shaft at the engine?

Look under the rubber boot that protects the shaft where it enters the engine. Pull the shaft aft a bit to bring the clip into sight if necessary.

It helps to use a floor jack to raise and lower the engine a bit while maneuvering engine a million times so it will exit the frame.

See parts microfiche at "www.bikebandit.com"

I recommend quality replacement parts from Electrex USA "www.electrexusa.com" The best stuff, but expensive.
