Motorcycle Repair: Oil Level, yamaha vstar 650, web addy

I own a 2002 Yamaha VStar 650 Classic and I didn't receive an owners manual with it. I'm needing to know what kind of oil and how much oil my bike needs. There is no "eye" for viewing oil level and there is no dipstick either. Please help! Thank you!  peachypebbles24@cs.com
