Mike,2002 hd low rider with the stage one kit,carb mod, air cleaner,exhaust. When i let of the gas after high rpm she pops like crazy,but if i do the same with the choke pulled it doesnt pop.It has done this from day one when the harley shop put it in. I would rather fix it myself now. Bigger jet? Thanks for the help, Chris

Pull the spark plugs and let me know what color they are. Also, what pipes are you running? Are they drag pipes?

The spark plugs are a light brown and I have screaming eagle mufflers that I drilled out the angled piece of metal so that you can see straight through them.  Otherwise there is no other modifications.

Your problem is from not having enough back pressue on the exhaust system. Once you took the baffles out that stopped the back pressure. Also, when doing this you lose HP. It hurts the low end and midrange. Install the baffles back and that will solve the problem
