Motorcycle Repair: problem with rear brakes Ness forward controls, rubber hammer, rear brakes

Question
I have Arlen Ness froward controls on a 94 soft tail.  I have been having problems with the back brake sticking. I replaced the rear disk it was warped and under sized. I also changed the pads and cleaned the brake itself. I started bleeding the system. I pushed the lever down and it stayed down. When I pumped it it had no resistance. But the reservoir was full of fluid.
I kept pumping the lever and to get it to pump out the fluid with no luck. I removed the brake line and covered the hole with my thumb and pumped the lever and I still could not get it to pump fluid. I even tapped on it with a rubber hammer with no luck.
My guess is that it might be an internal problem with the master cylender. If so what could it be and can it be fixed.
Thanks for your help

Answer
Sounds like you either have a puck (the part that slides in the caliber and moves the brake pad) or the master cylinder itsself. The warping is caused from overheating of the disk, due to the brake being on all athe time and rubbing.
I wouls start by removeing the internals fromt he master cylinder. and see if its sticking. Ther should be a ring clip at the eind of it holding it together. Once the ring clip is removed you can use air pressure to blow out the parts inside. Check for corossion that is keeping it from moving. Once you get it working check the caliber to make sure the puck is moving. If not then take the caliber apart and remove the puck and check for corossion in it.
Good luck and happy riding
