Motorcycle Repair: Misfireing, dyna jet, epa standards

Question
I have a 2004 Harley FXDP. it is stock with no changes made. The bike misfires often. Normaly at any speed that is not accelerating. For instance trying to go 35 mph at about 2000 rpm. it will mis at any speed or rpm if it is cruiseing. it does not mis under load or if it does it is not noticable.
I brought it back to the dealer and they said they did not see it happen but that would be impossible because it happens all the time.

Answer
Sounds like a fuel problem. First, your bike came from the factory lean to pass EPA standards, which will cause the popping. I would install a Dyna-jet kit. You should be able to do it yourself and the kit has great directions. Should take you about 1.5 hours.
GOod luck and happy riding
