Motorcycle Repair: Fatboy 03 remove baffle stock muffler, stock muffler, stock equipment

I have a fatboy EFI stock and wish to keep it with stock equipment look.  Wish a more deep sound.  Can I and if yes how can the baffles in the muffler be removed?  Does this mean remap on EFI?

Removing the baffles will give you drag pipes, which will make the bike run lean. the baffles are welded in so athey are tough to get out. You would be better off to get a tuned set of muffles for the sound you are looking for. If you do take the baffles out you will have to get it remapped and you will lose power int he midrange and lowend.
