Motorcycle Repair: 2000 Yz 250, mx bike, exhaust valve

I just purchased a 2000 YZ 250 mx bike.  this is my first bike so I am a little new o some of the new features on these bikes.  my question is, there is a small black hose that comes out of the side of cylinder head and down under the bike.  I was running it today and there was exhaust coming from this hose as well as some condensation.  Is this supposed to be this way or is there something wrong? Just kinda had a red flag go up when I saw this so any info would be appreciated.  thanks a lot.

Hi Ryan,

I recommend the purchase of the service manual for your MC. The manual contains all the necessary intel to maintain and repair your MC.

The hose is a exhaust valve vent. Some blow-by gasses will exit this hose. No worry.
