Motorcycle Repair: 03 kawasaki z1000 wiring, crank sensor, cam sensor

Question
i have no ground to fire my injs or my coils.
the motor is not in a bike.the crank sensor,cam sensor and down sensor are good.the wiring harness
was cut up.the ecu is good,put it in a running bike and it started up fine.it has no ignition switch.iv'e had it a two kawasaki shops and can't find the trouble.can you please help me.im good on wiring i was auto tech for 28 years.i did put a 100 om resistor in the gray wire to the ecu.i have a shop manual from kawasaki ive done all the test and all seems to be fine.some of the tests say to replace the ecu but it works fine in a running bike have had it in two bikes and it worked just fine.

Hi James,

If you can't figure it out, I doubt a dealership tech will be able to diagnose the problem, respectfully.

My advice is to inquire with an electronics technician and have the problem scoped out (no pun).
