Motorcycle Repair: Oil Sensor, honda cb 550, honda cb 550 four

1975 Honda CB 550 FOUR. Leaking oil for a while, on a recent tune up, my mechanic pointed out it was leaking from the oil sensor. I've taken the oil pan off, but am just wondering if this is the best place to access my oil sensor. It looks like I've got a long way to go up yet, as the transmission is sitting right there. Can I go around these, or do I have to go through them to access my sensor?
