Motorcycle Repair: 1982 honda 250r?, honda 250r, crank case

Question
what type of oil do i use in the {crank case ? } area of my 2 stroke 250?

Answer
The only oil you can add to the motor is for the transmission and clutch. Use regular motor oil.
10-40w should work just fine.

I found this page but it doesn't have all the specs!

Generally, when Honda has oil levels to check, either they have a dipstick on the filler hole or they will use a side bolt with copper washer. For the dipstick, you check it with the bike level and just dip the stick into the hole to check the level. If no dipstick, generally you will drain the trans, replace the filler bolt. Remove the level bolt and then add oil until it begins to come out of the upper level bolt hole. Once it begins to flow out, stop filling, replace the level bolt and then replace the filler plug.
