Motorcycle Repair: electrical. i think, cc size, shively

i just found an old junker suzuki 1600 dirtbike. i think its late 70s early 80s.  it has a kick start and 5 speed.  ive done a lot of work to it but cant seem to get it to spark. i dont know a lot and would like any info you can give me on it.  i cleaned the flywheel and all that. could it be the coil? thanx for anything you come up  with.

Describe color, any numbers you can find, engine cc (size) because it's certainly not a 1600cc!! : )
