Motorcycle Repair: Clutch Return Spring, clutch springs, clutch plates

Hi,
I Have just had my 1996 Suzuki GSF600S serviced and was told everything was fine except i may need to replace the Clutch Return Spring. What or where is this spring and any ideas on how i may find one as my servicers when asked could not locate one.

Your help would be much appreciated as this is driving me mental.

Hi Mark,

Visit the following website to see microfiche parts on-line:
"www.bikebandit.com" Click "OEM Parts" and then select your MC from the menus that follow.

You'll see the 5 or 6 springs on the "Clutch" view. If these parts are worn, you should replace all clutch plates and clutch springs as a set.
