Motorcycle Repair: Electrical getting no spark plug spark, honda 400 cb, coil specs

I have a 1978 Honda 400 CB A.I put a new coil,and rewound stator and still can,t get any spark to spark plug.THANK FOR ANY HELP.LARRY

Hi Larry.
 Check the ignition system from power to spark plug for shorts, bad connections and bad components.  You will need the repair manual for the ignition coil specs.  Also check the fuses and fuse connections for loose/bad fuses.  Test the fuses with a multimeter......do not go by visual appearance of the fuse, unless it is clearly fried.
