I can't get the bike above 60mph and I can't get full throttle in gears 2-6.  It feels like the bike is choking.  I refueled cause it felt like it was out of gas but it didn't help.  I greatly appreciate any help you can give me. thanks, kyle

Answer
Hi Kyle,

Please follow my instructions for posting a question. Can you provide any history of repairs, storage, modifications, crashes, or other information about this MC? Include your email address with question so I may return repair information files.

In the interim, check for and advise me of the following; 1) The condition of the air filter.
2) The appearance of the spark plugs. Describe the colors. Note which cylinder each plug came from.

Also, check the airbox and any ductwork related to air intake. Look for nests of bees, birds, or mice. Is the air filter clean and in good condition? Is the airbox drain/catch tube empty?

Was the MC stored for awhile? Gas stabiler used? Anybody work on it lately? Clean the carbs? any additional intel is helpful.

Standing by....

Respectfully,
Mark Shively
