Motorcycle Repair: Carburetor issues, kawasaki ninja 600r, air fuel mixture

Question
1992 Kawasaki Ninja 600R
Vance and Hines supersport 4-1 pipe
Keihin CVK32 with fresh rebuild +.5 mm fuel level/new float needles/checked floats (ok)
Stock set up was #105 Mains/#35 Pilot Jet
Now have Dyno Jet stage 1 kit
#96 Mains Jets/#38 Pilot Jet
Hard to start Cold Idles fast when warmed up. Have to keep adjusting idle throughout the day Overheated with #35 Pilot Jet and NGK D9EA
Tried D8EA plugs still overheated
Cured with #38 Pilot Jet (out 6 turns on Pilot air Screw/Only place idle was possibly smoooth) and D9EA Plugs
Synched with Carbtune II Mercury Sticks running
 23 MMHg on all cylinders
Now just have hard start issues and can't quite get carbs synched. Idle is lumpy and surges.

Any Ideas?

Answer
Hi Brain,

Great description information. Thanks!

Was the cooling system serviced in any way, including removing the cap or adding coolant? Is radiator obstructed or cooling fins defective in any way?

What is the primary use of this MC? Describe your riding habits and intended use (be honest).   : )

Describe the appearance (colors) of spark plug insulators.

What is the elevation where you live?

Leaning out the air-fuel mixture generated hotter engine temperatures.

Reference the idle condition when warm: have you checked for intake air leaks? Synchronization levels are good.

Was the MC stored for a period? I'm curious if any varnishing occured in carbs, obstruction of the enrichment circuits.
