Motorcycle Repair: my honda 2002 elite 80 cc scooter, narrow spring, honda 2002

Question
Due to what was a small oil leak, I found a plug nut loose under the engine. This plug / nut has a 9/16 wrench head on it with a seal washer. It is located on the bottom side on the engine a couple inches away from the oil level stick. Noticing this plug was loose and wet with oil, I unscrewed it to have a better look. Bad MOve! The whole thing popped out and fell on the floor. Hence I now had 3 pieces in my hand, the plug, a steel cylindar with holes in it, about 3/8" diameter and a long narrow spring. I had no idea as to the order of how the spring and cylindar went back in. So i GUESSED AT IT and apparently failed. After I shoved the spring up 1st, then the cylindar (teflon head first) 2nd and then put the plug back, I started the engine only to hear funny noises. I shut off the engine, removed the plug, then had to dig out the cylindar (it didn't just fall out like before. The spring appears to be sucked up into the engine, it wouldn't come out, I got a hold of a piece of it but it was only a 3" chunck that got severed off the main piece. Now what do I do? Can I drive this thing to a dealership which is about 6 miles away without ruining the engine? or should I have it towed to the fixit place? I kept the cylindar and piece of wire out of the unit and put the plug back in.

Thank you in advance

Answer
Unfortuntaly you put the parts in wrong order. know you have a wrong part in a wrong place so you have to take the bick to the dealership, and by the way you can drive it but without run the engine but i think it will be more easy if you towed it insted of pushing it
