2003 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. I went on about a 20 mile ride. Went ot see a movie and when I came out the bike didnt start on the first try. On the second, it started very rough and there was a loud pop. After that I started it and a loud compression like noise was coming from the engine and it would not keep running unless I was on the throttle. I have had no previous problems. Can you give me some help?

Hi Eric,

Remove the spark plugs and describe them to me. Remember which cylinder plugs were taken from.

I suspect a couple of things: igniton problem or fuel/carb contamination problem.
