Motorcycle Repair: will not start, suzuki gs, detail check

Question
Last night i road my bike (1982 suzuki GS650) for about an hour and a half on highway roads.  it seemed to driving fine, but i went to move it after about twenty minutes and sounded a little weird.  then this morning i cannot get it to start.  the battery is fully charged, but it will not catch at all.  Do know what could be the main cause of this?  i am going to check the plugs tonight, but are there any other obvious things that can be causing this?

Hi Eric,

Describe the sounds; "...a little weird" dosen't help diagnose location or possible problems. It's general at best.

What do you mean by ...will not catch? Please describe exactly what happens in detail.
