Motorcycle Repair: Engine swap, suzuki rg500 gamma, suzuki bandit 600

I have a 1996 Suzuki Bandit 600. I've found a 2002 Bandit 1200 and 1996 GSXR-750 engines on the internet. Will they bolt in to the 1996 frame? Also if the engine is swapped, what else will I have to change? Thanks!

Hi Todd,

I don't have experience with engine swapping except for the following: a Yamaha TZ250 to a YSR50 frame, a YZ80 to a YSR50 frame, and a Suzuki RG500 Gamma to a Yamaha Banshee frame.

FYI: The 600 frame is a bit lite for the 1200 engines. Will need some reinforcement. The engines are close, though I recall someone saying some fabrication was needed.
