Motorcycle Repair: splitting block, main bearing, flywheels

Question
I think I have a problem with the big end on the front con rod. I have removed the top end and feel some movement in the bottom end. Which side should I dismantle first to split the block and replace if necessary

Answer
When you say you feel movement, are you feeling up and down movement when pulling against the crank pin?
There will be some side to side movement.
You are going to have to strip bith sides of the motor and remove the motor from the bike in order the split the cases. Also you will need a press to remove the right side of the case from the right main bearing. When replacing the rods you will need a balancer the do the rods to the flywheels.
