Motorcycle Repair: changing exhaust, exhaust vance, load controller

I have an '03 fxdwg, with stage I carb/se slip ons with se air filter. i may want to go to louder exhaust, headers, or non/slip-on full exhaust(vance/hines). my bike runs great. will an exhaust change involve more jetting changes, or will my se jetting be ok?
Answer -
if you install a set of vance and hines exhaust system you will NEVER get your bike to run right or jetted correctly no mater what carb you have. you will kill all your horse power and torque. But it will be loud.Buy some good pipes that work. Johnny

what do you recommend?

I would recommend a White Brothers E-Series 2 into 1 exhaust system for a 2 into one look or a set of Cycle Shack PHD series 2" duels with a tapper cut. either one of these exhaust are the best on the market. I like the 2 into 1's myself. My Dynojet 250 load controller Dynometer also like the 2 into 1 exhaust system.  Johnny
