Motorcycle Repair: 04 FLSTF exhaust, flstf fatboy, head pipes

Mike,I have a 2004 FLSTF Fatboy. My question is there a big preformance diffence in sceaming eagle mufflers ,keeping stock head pipes verses changing out the whole thing to vance and hines Big shots.I plan on doing air filter and jetting at same time.Other than being louder is there a big enough gain for the extra money?

There is a gain going to the vance and hines from the screming eagle, But it is a gain that with a stock motor you will never notice. It is very mimumal. Your correct, they do make more noise, but not enough gain to make it worth it.
