Motorcycle Repair: High milage on engine, 2000 honda cbr600f4, chain sprockets

Hi, I am thinking of buying a used 2000 Honda CBR600F4. Upgrades are: m4 slip-on exhaust, K&N, new chain & sprockets, and a recent tune-up.  I have found it at a low price but i realized it has almost 40,000KM on it(im not sure how many miles that is).  I know it all depends on how the person maintained a bike but it seems like a good deal.  Any opinion on buying a used sportbike with high milage will be very useful to me.  Thanks for the time. 1.00 Kilometer is equal to 0.62 miles, so the odometer has about 25k miles.

You're right about how the MC is cared for.

Perform a cylinder compression test to determine the condition of the engine. Get specs from service manual for comparision.
