Motorcycle Repair: proper replacement, bearcat, oil leak

Hello Mark,
 I removed the left side cover plate on my 97 artic cat 454 4x4 bearcat to replace the gasket as I had a minor oil leak that I wanter to repair.  When I did gears and washers also came out. I have the service manual that is from artic cat but the photos are not worth a dang. I really like the machine and want to keep it for another 5 years at least. Can you please assist? Thanks for any assist.
