I am glad your nephew is out of that place safely. I know your nerves are a little steadier now. Let us hope that one tour is enough for everyone. I certainly don't like the idea of anyone having to go back.

Yes, there are wiring diagrams available in the index pages of almost all commercialy available manuals. Haynes, Chiltons, etc. You might bew able to find a few on the net, but it may not be the right one for your machine. Having the RIGHT diagram is the most important.

Also, publishers take a dim view of anyone using copyrighted material without permission. So don't ask me to scan one and send it to you.

They aren't overly complex, you just have to pay attention to the details. AND... hope that someone else hasn't botched the job before you got there. Then it can get confusing.

Thanks John. Unfortunately, thats whats happened, It's been botched.
Also, what would be causing fuel to be in the bottom of the oil sump tank.

I can't think of any good reason for fuel to be in the bottom of the oil sump. This could present a danger by thinning the oil and possibly causing excessive wear.

The few possibilities I can come up with are maybe some kind of compression blow-by, either past the pistons, or a valve. This is not a good thing.

Another possibility is that someone in the past attempted to clean everything out with gasoline and was less than thorough in eliminating the remainders.

Drain and replace all the oil. Then when the bike is up and running again, keep an eye on what is happening. A compression check is always in order.
