Motorcycle Repair: How much will it cost, xr75, rarity

Hey, chris i was just wondering if you would know if it would cost more to have a 1976 xr75 carbuerater rebuilt or if it would be better to buy a brand new carbuerater. well i hope u can answer this chris so, l8r

 On a bike that old, it is hard to say which would be cheaper.

 Usually a rebuild is less than half of the cost of a new set of carbs, but in an older bike, like yours, sometimes it is cheaper to replace the carb rather than rebuild.  Most of that depends on the rarity of the bike as well.

 Check around in a few different shops and parts places.  See for yourself which will be cheapest for you.  Remember to add in the cost of the mechanic to do the work, unless you are doing the rebuild yourself, then it will always be cheaper, as long as you know what you are doing.
