Motorcycle Repair: 96 Kodiak/Warrior Carbs, shively, kodiak

My kodiak carb is shot.  I can pick up a nice warrior carb reasonably, are the carbs the same?  Will the warrior carb have to be rejetted for the kodiak if they are compatible?  Both carbs are 1996.  I've only seen pix of the warrior carb and from what I've looked up they appear to be the same carb, just not positive.

Hi Dennis,

I compared microfiche views of the two carbs. The exploded views appear similar, but have different part numbers. My experience is they are differnt in some form or design. I am not sure if they are interchangable, or not.

Try visiting "www.atvfrontier.com" and ask the same question. Someone there may know the answer.
