Motorcycle Repair: motor oil or two cyicle oil, small engines, motor oil

Question
I deal with two cycles small engines, can I mix SAE 30 motor oil with gasoline for this engines? what is the diference between this two oils? In my job my friends treat me like a criminal because I mix SAE 30 motor oil with gas. They say that is not rigth but they do not know why. I have done it for years and I havn't seen any diference. I hope you give me some light here.  Thanks in advance alex mateos

Sorry to say, but I am not going ot be able to help you> If you check my profile I only work on Harleys, so I have no experience with 2 cycle motors. Check with some of the other experts and they should be able to help
