Motorcycle Repair: I have a 1982 low rider. I..., clutch basket, clutch assembly

Question
I have a 1982 low rider. I just noticed a
squeeky / scratchy sound. It goes away when I pull in the clutch. Sound like it is coming from primary side.
It does change with the rpm and doesn't start making the noise until bike is warmed up( 2 miles of riding)

Every thing else is fine. Any idea?
If it's a bearing, how can I pin point which one?

Answer
I would start by checking the primary chain to make sure its not to loose. Next taking off the primary cover and pulling the clutch basket and checking the bearing in it, also making sure the nut which holds the clutch assembly isn't loose.
Good luck and happy riding
Mike
