Motorcycle Repair: Choke Cable, suzuki katana 750, 1999 suzuki katana 750

Question
I currently own a 1999 Suzuki Katana 750.  I had a bad problem with the choke cable being seized up, so I purchased a new one.  I can "pull" the choke out, but can't "push" it back in.  I think the problem is in the way that I have the cable routed in the choke control (LH switch aseembly) but can't figure out the way the tension spring inside the assembly works.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Answer
Hi Ethan,

Tha's a simple, but frustrating fix. I've owned Katanas & GSX-R's, even worked for Suzuki. However, I do not remember how it appears. If you can send an image of the LH control opened, I'll advise on the fix.

I searched the internet for about 30 minutes looking for text or images with negative results.
