Chris , is there a book or manuel that takes you step buy step thourgh general restoration , things that you would start with ,heads up on some that are over looked. thks lenny

Hi Lenny.
 Restoration is one of those things that can apply to many different older items.  From chairs to antique airplanes.  It can be a lot of fun and also a major headache, sometimes.

Any good book store (Borders, Barnes & Noble, etc.) as well as the public library should have a book on automotive  restoration.  The same principles apply.  If the bike is not running or not running correctly, then you will also need the repair manual for the bike.  Having the repair manual will also come in handy later on as well.
