ON MY KAWASAKI NINJA 97 I STALL WHEN IM ON HILLS OR STARTING ON AN INCLINE FROM A STOPPED POSITION. IT RUN WELL ANY OTHER TIME.I GIVE ENOUGH GAS AND IT STILL DRAGS AND THEN CUTS OFF ADVISE PLEASE

 When was the last time the bike was tuned up correctly (timing, carb synch, valves, etc.)?

How about the oil and filter and air filter?

If any of theses things are due or overdue, then attend to them right away and that should make the problem go away.

What is the idlespeed set at?  Is it correct according to the repair manual?

Here's the kicker question, since it could be a matter of adjusting your own control style (also, to my thinking, least likely, which is why I ask it last).  Have you been riding this bike for a long while in this kind of terrain?  If not, then it could be a matter of adjusting your own control method to this particular bike/terrain mix.
