Motorcycle Repair: Turn signal repair, bikebandit com, yamaha 750

I have a 1983 Yamaha 750 Maxim and my front-right turn signal was damaged and needs replacing. I can't figure out how to remove the damaged housing & signal?

Hi Peter,

You need to buy the service manual. It contains all the info you'll need for this repair, and more. It wil pay for itself with the first repair.

Remove the lens by removing the fasteners in the lens. Remove the blinker stay by removing the nut on the opposite side of the blinker stay.
