Motorcycle Repair: suzuki motor info, suzuki dealer, suzuki motor

i want to put a tuned header system on this beast, since it's an 1100 which type should i use and where would i get one with out knowing the type of cycle since the guys at Milford Suzuki, Milford Pa can't or will not help me identify the motor. sincerely jd-------------------------

head number 1074cm 3.  wire harness # X8943-36610-46E20 where or how can I find out what type of suzuki motor this is.

I can tell you that it's a 1100cc Engine. If I had an image of it, I may be able to identify the model, and possibly year.

Try the local Suzuki dealer with the engine number. I have no resources for identifying engine numbers.

A suzuki dealer should be able to match the wiring harness number to their microfiche catalogs. They may be too busy to take the time.

Show the dealer your engine. They should be able to tell exactly what it is in a second.

Once you know the year and model, call around for information on the pipes available for your application.
