Question
i shut my bike off went to hook up some speakers now i can not get any fire out of the plugs it trys to turn over but no spark at all changed the rectifier still no spark out of the plugs

Answer
Hakman,
If you haven't done so already, test each ACTUAL plug against ground, not another plug while leaving the originals in the heads.  If you have no spark at either and the bike wad just running it's probably too coincidental to be coils, high or low tension leads.  I'd look to your kill and ignition switch to see if they are both working properly with a multimeter.  Other than that you may have loose or bad connections somewhere in the stator or a malfuntioning ignition module.
The rectifier only converts the A/C voltage the stator puts out to D/C so it can charge the battery.  This is a totally different system than the ignition system.  An engine can run with a malfuntioning rectifier AND voltage regulator.  Pricy part to swap.

Hope this helps,
Mike
