Motorcycle Repair: smelling gas, exhaust pipes, drain tube

I Smell exhaust or gas very strong when at traffic light or stopped while engine is running, maybe something is loose or problem with carb Or exhaust pipes need some sort of gasket , I

Hi Greg,

Sorry for the long delay in responding. My PC has been down for several days.

Check the air cleaner for gas puddling in the drain tube and bottom areas. I suspect a carb float needle valve may be sticking or debris preventing it from sealing.
