Motorcycle Repair: Electrical Screw-up, honda cbr600, semi conductors

Mark - I have jump started my 93 Honda CBR600 several times before, even though I know it's not recommended.  The last time though I pulled the biggest bonehead in the world...I put the neg. & pos. cables on the wrong terminals.  Now, I've got nothing.  Not even any guage lights when I turn the key on.  Checked all the fuses, including the one right in front of the battery(between battery and starter), and they are all still good.  What do you think I have done?  Fried the starter?  Wires?  I'll take any help you can give.

Those things happen.

I suspect semi-conductors in the elctronics are damaged. You may consider having a local shop perform diagnostics tests to confirm. They may charge an hours time fee for the tests, or an estimate of repairs fee.
