Motorcycle Repair: taking bike out of storage, kawasaki 250, new spark

Question
I just took my Kawasaki 250 out of my backyard and I cant get it started.  I jumped the battery but it wont turn over it just stays reving right about to turn over.  somebody looking at it said I need new spark plugs do you think that is right and do you have any idea what size they are for a 2000 kawasaki 250

Answer
Hi Dylan,

I would check the spark plug's condition first. I would check the carburetor for gas gumming or varnishing next.

This is very common. Usually requires cleaning the carb and plug.

Call your local dealer for the correct spark plug.
