Motorcycle Repair: ATV wont start? Polaris 350, winter barn, allexperts

Thanks for reading this!
I put my machine (late 80's Polaris 250 automatic)up for the winter (barn) and when I went to start it... new plug, fresh gas, it would not start with electric start or pull.
This has never happened before. The machine is old but has run great up until now. No real service history. The only thing I have had to do with this machine was plugs and gas.
What do you think?

Hi Alex,

I suspect the gasoline in the carburetor has varnished. The carb will need removed, disassembled, and thoroughly cleaned.
