Motorcycle Repair: carburettor, air fuel mixture, yamaha fz750

Question
i own a yamaha fz750 1992,the engine hunts and feels like it is going to stall at low revs(in all gears),i have no air leaks and have cleaned and checked all jets but problem still persists.

Answer
Hi Mark,

From the brief description given, I suspect the carbs need a more thorough cleaning and tuning. Send me an email address as requested. I'll return carb cleaning, tuning, and synchronizing files that may assist you.

Read info files carefully before beginning work. Take time performing work and be thorough. Every pinhole in the carbs has a function and is critical for proper operation. Every opening and passage way must be cleaned. Every tube must be cleaned. Use carb spray cleaner, pipe cleaning brushes, mini-pick tools, tooth brush, and compressed air to clean carbs.

Read spark plugs to learn what is happening with the carb air-fuel mixture during the combustion burning process.

Respectfully,
Mark Shively
