Motorcycle Repair: honda goldwing stalling, honda goldwing 1200, regulator rectifier

Question
Hello
I own a 1986 Honda Goldwing 1200 aspencade i have done a lot of work to it, clutch fairing final drive tires and so on.  I took it out for a ride and after about 20 min it stalled, and would not start,  then after it cooled down a bit it started and drove it for about 15 min and stalled again, this repeated till i got it home 2 hrs later.  The problem is electrical cause after it stalled i took the plugs out and cranked it, there was no spark on any plugs. any ideas on how to fix this issue?  some have said its the pulse generator some have said there is a fuse that is broken and when it heats up it separates. and someone else has said its the regulator rectifier.
where should i begin first?

Answer
Hi Shaun,

Begin by sending me an email address as requested. I'll return electrical test information files.

Electrical troubleshooting can be frustrating for some. Have patience, get a service manual, and review my files before starting work.
