Motorcycle Repair: fork oil, local bike shop, fork seals

Hello Chris,
I have a 1983 Honda VT500c.
I have replaced the fork seals and am not sure how much oil to put in the tubes and to or not to use any air pressure.

Hi Max.
 What does the repair manual call for as far as air pressure and oil quantity?
 Even if you have the owner's manual it would show how much air to use, but the fork oil quantity will only be in the repair manual.  You can get one at a local bike shop, a Honda dealership or online.
